Air quality in the Jabodetabek region (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) has been a pressing concern, with deteriorating conditions posing serious health risks. To address this issue, PT Delta Dyakarta (PTD) has partnered with the Environmental and Forestry Agency of Bekasi City, Daya Toyota, and Media Lab to organize a free vehicle emission testing event.
In line with the Governor of DKI Jakarta Regulation No. 66 of 2020, which mandates vehicle exhaust gas emission testing for both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, this initiative aimed to enhance public awareness and promote environmental responsibility.
Held at the PTD plant on September 20-21, 2023, the event targeted 300 motorcycles and 200 cars. The testing was provided free of charge, allowing anyone to register and participate. Through this effort on corporate social responsibility (CSR), PTD aims to educate the community on the importance of vehicle emission testing and encourage collective action toward improved air quality and environmental sustainability.
